Details
The PMC Bronze .38 Special 132 grain Full metal jacket is a pure shooter’s round. The excellent price point of the Bronze line from PMC allows shooters of the .38 special and .357 revolvers to shoot longer for less money. The non +P round is mild on recoil and offers a simple, easy to shoot alternative to more expensive rounds, with the same benefits while at the range. It features a reloadable brass casing with boxer priming and a solid projectile which cuts down on barrel fouling.
Given the price point of the Bronze line by PMC, it just makes sense to shoot fresh factory packaged rounds through your guns instead of local range reloads. The consistency and the mild recoil give you a fun shooting round with the opportunity for reloading.
Muzzle velocity is at 917 feet per second and muzzle energy is 232 ft. Lbs. It may not be your best option for a personal defense load, but it just makes sense at the range.
It can be used as a cheaper alternative for range days in your .357 magnum and is suitable to shoot in revolvers marked “.38 Special” and “.357 Magnum”.
