500 Rounds of .40 S&W Ammo by Winchester Super Clean – 120gr Lead-Free FMJ

We love our ammo here at BulkAmmo.com, but that doesn’t mean we can’t acknowledge when it has shortcomings. Case in point: traditional 40 S&W target ammo, which is loaded with lead-core full metal jacket projectiles. Winchester Super Clean 40 S&W is special. It is loaded with zinc-core FMJ projectiles, which are incapable of emitting lead gas on ignition. Zinc is also a heavy metal, mind you, yet it is also an essential element to the human body. Too much of anything is a problem, but at least your body is *literally designed* to need zinc. Conversely, lead is exclusively toxic.

Winchester makes their Super Clean ammo even cleaner by loading it with lead-free (and heavy metal-free) Boxer primers. Take care that this reloadable brass-cased ammo is not frangible. The FMJ’s lead-free zinc core is not sintered and will not powderize on impact with steel.
