This ammo has a standard weight 230 grain FMJ bullet, which is perfect for full size handguns. Full metal jacket ammunition is ideal for range training and shooting competitions like IDPA. It is not a good round to have for home defense, due to its tenancy to continue going through walls, great increasing the possibility of hitting an unintended target.
One box of ammo is not enough for a good range day, and it will not help you get a good idea of how a new pistol shoots, so make sure you buy enough to do some quality training in.
