The Fiocchi .223 Remington cartridge is one of the best built rounds on the market. It comes topped with a 62 grain Full Metal Jacket bullet with a thick copper jacket, lead core with boat tail construction. These 62 grain FMJ-BT bullets are loaded into new, reloadable, heavy walled, non-corrosive boxer primed brass cases. They have a muzzle velocity of 3000-feet per second and a muzzle energy of 1238-foot pounds. When you are ready to hit the range, you can do it in style with these 50 round packs. They are great for family shooting excursions, plinking, or testing out a new firearm. Get yourself multiple boxes and you’ll be ready for your next trip to the rnage.
.223 Remington ammunition is known all over the world for its speed and accuracy. Designed in 1962, the 223 Remington has multiple variants and bullet sizes available for it. It is also closely related to the 556 NATO cartridge. The 5.56×45 NATO differs from the .223 Remington round in the amount of pressure that comes from the case upon ignition and in the dimensions of two chambers of each round. It is widely known but bears repeating that you should never chamber 5.56×45 NATO rounds in any .223 Remington ONLY rifle or pistol. The reason for this is because the distance of the chamber lead differs in both calibers. This size differential will usually create an amount of pressure that exceeds normal limits in the .223 chamber, causing problems and weakening the chamber inside the pistol or rifle.
