This cartridge’s 135 grain projectile is actually Sierra’s fine work. It’s a hollow point; not an HPBT or OTM or other non-expanding projectile, but an HP that is engineered for rapid expansion. It’ll fragment a bit after impact as well, which only spells a worse time for whichever critter you took aim at a fraction of a second earlier.
This round’s bullet is pretty light, which means you’ll witness a flat trajectory (as well as relatively sharper wind drift, if you’re shooting on a windy day). The nonmagnetic HP is seated in a virgin brass case (reloadable), and it’s just as fit for action in a 7.62×51 rifle as it is one chambered for 308 Win.
