Details
This round is loaded with a 140 grain full metal jacket boat tail. The bullet’s hard copper shell won’t let it deform during feeding and ignition, but it won’t let it expand if it strikes a critter, either. A boat tail bullet’s profile lets it retain more precious velocity as it races farther and farther downrange. As the result this round’s velocity shouldn’t transfer to subsonic and become destabilized until it has screeched past 500 yards. Pretty good for long-range target practice, and Aguila’s nonmagnetic bullets won’t present any issues should you take this ammo to more particular rifle ranges!
Aguila was founded in Mexico with the help of Remington back in 1961. They have since earned a great reputation for their rimfire ammo, but their centerfire cartridges are also excellent. Trust this ammo’s brass cases to feed, extract and reload just how you’d like them to, and count on its non-corrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning powder to spark up reliably and consistently.
